What are VOD system requirements? A broadband connection and a Windows PC with Windows Media Player 9 or above.
What's the difference between “streaming” and “downloading”? Streaming and downloading are basically the same user experience with one distinct difference; with streaming, nothing is copied to your PC's drive. You're watching real-time from our servers. Choose this option if you don't want the video taking up space on your drive.
If you choose download, our server downloads an actual copy of the video to your PC's hard drive. (The videos range from 115 to 170 MBs.) Just like streaming, it starts immediately, but you won't be able to skip around in the timeline until the download is complete. On a reasonably fast broadband connection this is a matter of minutes. Choose this option if you want a copy of the video on your computer.
No matter which option you choose when purchasing—streaming or downloading—you can return to our site anytime from the same PC and click either option and be taken straight to the video. Say you chose to stream at first but now you want to download? No problem, just click download and download it!
Note: Windows doesn't automatically save WMV files! The saving process can differ depending on how you have your player set up. If it’s in “skin mode” go to File>Save As... and choose a place on your PC to save. If you’re in “full mode” right+click on the time line or status bar and choose File>Save As... from the pop-up.
How does the payment process work?
1. Click on either “stream” or “download” for the video you want to watch.
2. A web page from PayPal will appear. Enter your info (or login if you have an account with PayPal) and click buy. You will be presented with a ‘Thank you for your purchase’ page.
3. Click the “close” button in the upper right hand corner to get rid of this page.
4. Click “continue” and you’re off.

After I buy the video do I own it? No, what you're buying is a license to view the video on your PC anytime you like, not the actual video. After the purchase process, the license is copied to your PC. From then on, anytime you watch—be it from a downloaded copy on your drive or streaming from the S4D site—Windows Media Player locates the license and immediately starts the video. It is a seamless process that happens almost instantly.
Can I give the videos to my friend? No. The license only allows the videos to be played on the authorized computer it was originally purchased with.
Frequently Asked Questions: DVDs
Will the DVDs play in my country? Our DVDs are NTSC (Region Free) and will play in most all DVD players throughout the world. They will also play in any computer or game console equipped with a DVD player. If the video standard in your country is PAL, please be sure to test your system with an NTSC DVD before ordering.
Do you offer VHS? Dude. VHS is so last century.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and Paypal.
Can I pay using a check or money order? At this time we do not accept checks or money orders.
Do I need to create an account with you to purchase? No. If you like, you can create a password during the checkout process to create an account with us for express checkouts in the future, but it is not necessary. If you have a Paypal account, you can choose the Paypal Express option for faster checkout with them. You will be temporarily re-directed to the Paypal site to login with your Paypal account info. Then you will be sent back to us to finalize your order. Quick and simple.
What is the delivery time on orders? The delivery time in the U.S. is typically 2 to 4 days but could be up to 2 weeks from the date the order is processed. It all depends on where you live and how fast the post office is working. Please contact us if you need faster shipping.
How much is shipping? Shipping and handling for individual orders in the U.S. start at $4.00 for 1st Class Mail, $6.00 for Priority Mail. International rates start at $10.00 for First-Class Mail International. All funds are in US currency. International customers are responsible for paying all customs fees and import tax for their country.
What is your refund policy? All sales are final, however, if your copy is defective, contact customer support.
What name appears on my credit card statement? Stuff4Dudes.
What kind of package arrives in the mail? Our DVDs ship in a plain white envelope with S4D as the return address.
